What She Found There

Mirrors and glass reflect the world, allowing us to see what may go unnoticed by the naked eye. A lens – or a looking glass – allows us to see what is in front of us in new ways. The camera, a contraption of lens and mirrors, captures images that can be shared with others. For me, photography is a vehicle to explore, interpret, and connect with my surroundings. I am drawn to documentary photography for its immediacy and intimacy. Yet my photographs depict a variety of subjects, from city patterns to natural motifs.  Through the looking glass of my camera, I discover and record scenes that captivate and intrigue me.
